2019 Ford Edge Trim Levels

Comparing Trim Levels: New 2019 Ford Edge

Launched in 2006, the Edge is a mid-size crossover SUV by Ford. Currently, in its second generation, the Ford Edge uses Ford’s CD4 platform. Thanks to its smooth handling, versatile design, advanced safety features, and evasive steering assist, this model is the preferred choice of millions of families around the world.

Last year, Ford launched the 2019 version of the car. The 2019 Ford Edge uses four trim choices; SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST. Can’t decide which trim level option is the best for you? To help you make an informed decision, we compare these trim levels here.

SE

The SE is the basic trim level. It comes with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. The SE gets a combined mpg of 25. The SE comes with power door locks cargo net liftgate assist handle, four 12-volt power points, and a smart-charging USB port. Some standard safety features include the Personal Safety System, side-impact airbags with rollover sensor, and the SOS Post-Crash Alert System.

SEL

The SEL uses the same 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine featured in the SE. The SEL features add-ons such as leather-wrapped steering wheel with cruise control that make the trim level enjoyable to ride. Five-way controls help you manage the features without removing your hands from the steering wheel. On top of this, auto-dimming rearview mirror keeps safety issues at bay, while power front seating prevents any discomfort and fatigue for you and your co-pilot.

Titanium

The Titanium is a notch above the SEL. The trim level features a refined infotainment system that includes Sony’s high-definition 12-speaker audio system. The SEL comes with a foot-activated tailgate that allows you to access your trunk without having to use your hands. Lastly, heated front seating eliminates fatigue.

ST

The ST is the highest trim level in the Edge lineup. If you crave for power, the ST deserves your attention. The trim level features a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that makes 335 hp and 380-lb.ft. of torque. An all-wheel drive is standard, and the leather-trimmed seating features Miko suede inserts. Furthermore, Bi-LED low and high beam headlamps and a gloss black-painted mesh grille with ST logo enhance the ST’s aesthetic appeal.
