Powerful and Robust: New 2020 Ford Expedition

The streets of Durham, NC, are set to witness the newest 2020 Ford Expedition around Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Cary. It is the largest SUV option from Ford and is the best in the market right now.

Exterior
2020 Ford Expedition measures 210 inches in length, with a wheelbase of 122 inches. The Expedition Max is even longer, measuring 221.9-inches. The front portion has more detailed chrome trims around the grille along with LED headlights and taillights.

The 2020 Ford Expedition comes with significant aluminum bodywork and has tow hooks and a receiver hitch below the front and rear bumpers as an option for hauling. There are 8 models to select from XLT, XLT MAX, Limited, Limited MAX, King Ranch, King Ranch MAX, Platinum, and Platinum MAX.

Standard, as well as MAX models, will offer 36 inches of third-row legroom and additional chrome and wood trims for the cabin. Passengers in the last row can make use of 4 more inches of space by pushing forward the second row.

Interior
The interior has a seven-passenger capacity across three rows of seats. An upgraded Sync3 infotainment system, a TFT display, two-zone climate control, navigation, and Bluetooth are standard features on all trim levels.

Limited and Platinum trims have features like Wi-Fi hotspot, panoramic roof, and power-folding seats. B&O premium audio system is also on offer for the 2020 Ford Expedition.

2020 Ford Expedition Powertrain
The 2020 Ford Expedition offers 3 different types of engines. Customers can opt between the gasoline and diesel engines, and a hybrid drivetrain option is available too. The base drivetrain is a 3.5-liter V6 that can generate 375 horsepower and a new 10-speed automatic transmission is standard.

Max makes use of the same 3.5-liter V6 but can deliver up to 400 horsepower. 9,200 pounds can be towed and an all-wheel-drive setup is also provided.

Safety
Standard safety features included in the 2020 Ford Expedition are airbags, anti-lock braking, safety-canopy system, and other safety equipment that can be bought by additional packages. Ford could also add adaptive cruising or lane departure warning as a part of standard features after responses from critics. The extra safety suite offers a forward-collision warning and emergency braking.
